Yah I like Applejack my self, actually I like all of the mane seven, they all of different unique attributes, they make a good chemistry together I think.

She’s a well-rounded pony though, you can’t judge her only on how much of her life is consumed by her livelihood. She has a strong civic presence, and of course, she’s got a great family ethic. She may not change much, but for me, that’s not always requisite to being a good character.

Guess it depends on what you call “development”. If it means gradually learning more about her, than we’ve had as much of that for Applejack as for anyone. But if it indicates a process of growth and change for the character, then I’d have to say that AJ is pretty static.

Eh…In my personal opinion, I’d think that at best, it could allow Applejack to, y’know, grow and change as a character (something the others, even Fluttershy, are much better at), and at worst, utterly pointless and a waste of potential.
