Yeah…unfortunately, I saw some of the posts of them doing that. I wouldn’t call her s3 appearances “insignificant”, though. The thing is, all she ever was to us was something to keep our eyes peeled for, like a little pony version of “Where’s Waldo”. So, Derpy in the finale was actually pretty gratuitous in terms of number of shots, and especially that bit where she winks at the audience.

That’s apparently why Yamino made that one journal entry on DA in regards to the season 3 finale. (Remarking that Derpy’s appearance was so insignificant, they didn’t even notice it) ’Cause some people were rubbing it in her face that Derpy was put back into the show.

While there hasn’t been much activity surrounding derpygate recently, there are still those who will deny to the very end that her name is Derpy.
 
Perhaps I should have said the die-hard Ditzy crowd; I meant no offense towards simply having a preference.

What butthurt, and what “Ditzy-Doo” crowd? (I thought “Derpygate” was long dead.) I didn’t see that many of the anti-Derpy insisting on calling her that, I recall.
 
I actually kinda prefered the name “Ditzy Doo,” but I never had anything against the name “Derpy” either. I use both names personally. (To be fair that was going to be her name at one point, and in the original sccript to the “Last Round-up.”)  
So I see no reason to demonize those who sometimes use the name “Ditzy.” (Besides, it would’ve been a nice continuity call-back to the “Winter Wrap-Up” episode.)

I really want this.

This, sadly, will prove nothing to the Ditzy Doo crowd and the butthurt will continue as usual.
