So am I the only one here wondering how the cuss-word the upload is 4.5x higher than the download?

@FurtiveFalcon
It doenst let you stream because of that crappy upload, the download isnt that bad indeeed but as i said the real problem is the upload…
Also they only need to deliver 10% of the speed because of laws and contract which means that these 10mb gets only up to 1mb…

I think any speeds above 5 are perfectly fine. That speed and above lets you stream YouTube HD, and do mostly what needs to be done.

I came from 1.5, which became 3 in like 2006, which became 7 in 2010, which became 12 in 2012, which became 100-500 in 2013.

I’m genuinely curious as to why speedtest.net always says I get 2 Mb/s down, as it’s the only time I ever see an average higher than ~250kb/s. Peak or low time, different devices, wired or wireless, it’s always the same. I may occasionally get spikes up to an astonishing 400 kb per second that last for all of a second, but 2 megs per second is a fucking pipe dream for me. I sense some shenanigans.

I used to get 1Mb/s, but now I get 15Mb/s, which is nice. I didn’t know you could go faster though. With all the internetting I do daily I would love to have those speeds.

Thats the best result I’ve had in three weeks. Can I borrow the gun when you’re finished? I want to pay TalkTalk a visit.
