I thought it was something about theists trying to screw over atheist and this being a metaphor for the fact it can screw twice as many things at once. (if you catch my drift, molestia didn’t help)

It’s a joke about how fundy Christians once said that Bananas are proof of god. Since it’s so well designed for humans.
Turns out they’re like that BECAUSE WE MADE THEM LIKE THAT. Plantanes(which are what bananas were bred from) are very inedible and are a whole lot different than bananas.
