Poison was a Woman in Japan. When they brought the game over to America we changed it to being Trans because American publishers had issues with beating up a hot woman in a video game at the time.
Like I said, America can’t gender properly. Though in this case Gracie is the reverse situation of Poison. Considering there’s a well over 20 year gap between New Leaf and Final Fight, it’s not that surprising that America pulled a 180 with their gender politics.
I know Gracie’s a bull in Japan.
From what I found online Graci was an effeminate male character in the Japanese version who was turned into a female character when it was translated to English because America can’t gender properly. It’s ironically the same reason Poison is a transvestite.

Considering it’s about a cartoon giraffe and a cartoon pony with a giraffe neck, arguing semantics is silly. The tags are relevant enough.
Glitter doesn’t identify as female. Glitter hasn’t said what they identify as, people just assume female because he dresses girly.
