AMFG IT’S DIGITAL! HOLY SHIET IT TOOK YOU A LONG TIME TO FINISH THIS RUSTY! Well, little did I know that thursday (in mars?) the week before a short school break that what I had promised would be complete in “two weeks” would take me through a stroke and the whole summer break before it was actually finished, but gods it turned out 10x better than I imagined back then so I’m not about to complain =)
 
So, as I mentioned [here] this is fan art for an MLP fanfic called Awakening written by solocitizen with the main character Lumina just hanging around in space and enjoying the view. It was inspired by the very beginning of the story (which is incredible btw).
 
So now that both this and the story is complete all I can say is that the story was epic and the trials of drawing (everything from posing and details to colors, shades and getting that bloody visor visible) were almost as fun and inspiring. This was all drawn in Sketchbook express (except for the background which was made with trial Photoshop CS6) and I will switch to paint-tool sai from now on because some of Sketchbook’s features are a real pain to deal with.
 
Anyway you will probably see a lot of digital art from now on as I plan on playing around with my new tablet and learn more about it.
