Not trying to get political but might go faster if they stopped fussing over the embryonic stem cells and just worked with the adult varity.
 
I admit I am “pro-life” but seariously, even that aside it’s still foreign DNA possibly from multiple doners and at such an early stage so unstable who knows what they could turn into if you let them loose in your systems while pumped with anti rejection drugs!
 
Adult stem cells have your dna, already presant in your body AND stir up a lot less drama.

well i know that mass effect reference, but! we are actually in the future, we can make blind people see again we can make deaf hear again we can make muted talk again, we can make paraplegic walk again, we can give people who lost limbs, new prostheses with biofeedback (feeling warm cold and pressure) and the things we could heal with stem cells… but these things are actually in development and testing, just give it 2 or 3 years, and we have cbyernetic advanced people running around^^
