_*Ability to comment on a video means nothing when you can’t find the video to watch it in the first place. Dailymotion is a pathetic joke, and will remain such so long as their search function is so poor.

If either of those had a functional search engine that returned relevant results instead of just random crap you might have a point.
But they don’t.
I’m not in favor. I don’t comment anyway. Youtube is great and I’m not just going to up and leave but I must say that I can understand why some people would want to go. I’m not saying I’m not upset with the changes they made but it’s still not enough to make me leave.
All in favor of ditching this rotten corpse and switching to dailymotion and Vimeo?
The thing is, the Xbox couldn’t hope to get away with displeasing the userbase that way in the face of their competition, Sony and Nintendo. But what have Google got to worry about? Youtube is pervasive in the Internet and out of it.
Considering the stated point of the change is to remove foul or pointless comments like those, they’re just demonstrating the failure.
