Zev, if you’re still around, your artwork always made me smile. It was always a joy to see new stuff from you!
 
Ultimately, though, you have to do something that makes you happy. If you’re not happy, it makes no sense to continue on this path. That’s really hard to say, because I love what you do, but I care more about you as a person. Do what you have to do.
 
That said, should you decide to come back, you’ll find yourself welcomed with open arms. :)

Like what professor_of_hoers said, this guy(Zev) has a unique and wonderful style. Very few people are able to pull off this style of bedroom eyes as smoothly as this guy. These also appears to be hand drawn, which makes them even more intriguing.

Well Zev; I still don’t know who you feel you could have let down by your work and I do think your style has only gotten better and more unique over the short time I’ve known of your art but it’s your decision to make.
 
I don’t know if it means anything at all to you but even if you do stop drawing I want you to know you’ve long been one of my favorite artists and it’s been an absolute treat seeing your images on here. I hope you know, at least, that many of us here really appeciate(d) all you’ve done for the fandom and think you’re pretty swell.

I think that putting a colored image next to an image that isn’t colored is going to skew the feedback you get.

Me da mucha tristeza verte dejarlo, y honestamente sigo sin entender tu razonamiento. Pero nadie puede pararte. Lo unico que pido es que no desaparezcas en la nada; aunque ya no publiques mas arte, gustarie seguir teniendote como comentador aqui, o usando to Tumblr o lo que sea.

es solo que simplemente no he evitado dejar de pensar que he sido un fail todo este tiempo. que he perdido mi tiempo. veo mucha gente que ha crecido de una manera abismal su estilo de arte en solo meses, siento que ya no doy para más y estoy retrocediendo.
 
creo que es mejor simplemente dejarlo e irme con lo mejor que di de mí. quizá eventualmente regrese pero con otro nombre. pero por ahora se acabo esto para mí.

Lo unico que puedo decir es que no he visto yo nadie que este decepcionado con tus talentos. De verdad; hay cosas que entiendo que no hagan gracia en cuanto al tema, y me incluyo a mi mismo por ciertas imagenes, pero en cuanto a estilo, te juro que simplemente no lo veo.
 
Si ya no te hace gracia a ti dibujar, dejalo. Pero por favor ten en cuenta que aqui eres practicamente un heroe. Hay muchos que saben de teoria de iluminacion y refaccion y como dar un contraste perfecto entre lineas y sombreado y que no se mas, pero al final y al cabo no pintan nada “vivo”, y eso es algo que haces de forma espectacular.
 
Lo que tu llamas “garabatos”, yo lo llamo arte, y me da a mi y a muchos una alegria ver. Si decides dejarlo, bueno, no te puedo parar, obviamente; pero te pido solo que desaparezcas del todo. Aqui te queremos y te apreciamos.
 
No se que puedo decir para darte a entender lo mucho que eres apreciado. De verdad, me fallan las palabras.

he tratado de alcanzar varios objetivos en esta cosa del arte. no he logrado nada y en lugar de eso, me estoy volviendo peor.
 
he decepcionado a mucha gente que le gustaba my arte, pero sobre todo, me he decepcionado a mi mismo y eso es algo con lo que no puedo lidiar. lo he intentado un montón de veces, ser algo más que puros garabatos sin nada de gracia.
 
y para serte sincero, no creo que se pierda nada de valor aquí. artistas talentosos los hay por montones en este fandom, ellos saben muy bien como manejar este asunto del arte mucho mejor que yo. solamente quiero que no te fijes en las cosas que he hecho, y las cosas malas que mucha gente dice de este sitio y que sigas adelante, tu has contribuido mucho más a este fandom que yo en todo el tiempo que pasé involucrado en el mismo.

Zev, hay cosas que recientemente me han, honestamente, disgustado. Pero en cuanto a tu estilo, a la dinamicidad / espirito de lo que haces, no creo que haya quien te supere.
 
Puede muy bien que halla artistas que te superen a un nivel puramente technico, pero “lineas perfectas” o “un sombreado ideal” no es por lo que la gente siguen el mundo artistico. Si esas cosas fueran lo essencial, el mundo artistico hubiera muerto al momento de inventarse la camara fotographica.
 
La gente de este sitio y este fandom te adoran. No se como ponerlo mas claro, pero desde principios de ponibooru hasta ahora, eres considerado un Dios. Me da pena y dolor que no lo veas, pero la gente aqui te adora porque cuando dibujas algo, se nota que te importa.
 
Hay dos artistas en este mundillo que me parence esenciales. Uno es Atryl. el otro eres tu.

personally, i think both have aspects that are better than the other  
i think a better question is: which one are you more satisfied with?

If I may be honest I think both of your styles are enjoyable, and neither is simply better or worse outside a purely subjective standpoint.

Zev, I, As most of my closer friends know am extremely picky about what Luna artwork i like and what Luna artwork i don’t. And past and present your artwork of my Beloved Princess of the Night (As well as her alter ego) And Her sister Still continue to impress me and be on the top of my list of favorite artists.
 
So Pleease for the love of the moon and stars Don’t give up. your work is amazing be it finished or sketch both.

top is Cutelestia with messy mane  
bot is seductive Luna and Celestia
 
I like both so I guess my opinion didn’t helped you at all with your dilemma/problem :(
 
but still I think your art is awesome and if you will still say that’s “worse/bad/meh/crappy/etc..” I’m gona kick you in your ass Zev :3
