Welp, I guess I was wrong. He does have two sets of wings. I asked Shikaro about it.
I’m afraid I’m going to stick with the two-wings assumption. It’s not just the coloring. The shape of the wing between green sections seems to imply an independent set.
I don’t have a furaffinity account, so I can’t ask Shikaro directly.
They were probably fooled by the optical illusion too.
Yet another anonymous poster said that he does have two sets. Who am I supposed to believe?
He doesn’t, it just looks that way because of the colored feathertips.
This is a trait I’ve seen in a lot of OC’s. Double the horns so they’re more powerful with magic. Double the wings so that they’re faster flyers.
The problem is that, in trying to make a character unique, the artist beings to separate the character from the MLP world. A lot of people tend to react negatively to this idea as it feels like a shortcut towards distinction.
He’s a special breed of pegasus.
Also, Think about it. Double the wing power, double the strength and speed.
