She very rarely has her wings closed. Hell, she barely walks period. She just flies everywhere.
She possibly feels intimidated, and as pegasi nature, she throws her wings out to make herself seem like a bigger threat.
Or maybe I’m just reading too much into this. Still a cool idea tho.
