Reality check: Yes, but not because they are cute. Something like a heart attack can occur when simply having an emotionally peaked moment where the heart rate fluctuates. It is the emotions that motivate the maker. Not the picture itself.

Yes. And we owe them so much for their sacrifice. Everyday, putting their lives on the line to make sure that we get the gift of diabeetus, with nary a thank you, a kiss or a paycheck.

It’s a dangerous occupation, but I’m pretty sure drawing it yourself builds resistance to the point where some of them are almost immune. How else can artists like Muffinshire still be alive?
