Since Silver Spoon is my favorite character I approve of this canon

Oh yeah, forgot to mention before. THOSE EYES,DAMN! It’s like Sweetie is staring into your soul! D:

Always dislike this view of Silver. It makes her out to be some weak-willed wuss. I prefer her as strong and arrogant, a true friend of Diamond’s due to the things they share in common, and not afraid to make her own opinions known (like when she clapped for Granny Smith).

I remember an episode of Weekenders pretty close to this. The cool kids (forgot their names, but I think they actually called themselves that or something similar) decided there could on coolest kid and after a contest they split up. The “less cool” joined the main characters they used to make fun off. In the end, the “cool kids” reconciled but decided to be less mean.

Silver Spoon can’t be real friends with CMC, even if she makes up with them and gets on good terms she already has a cutie mark, as a crusader she’d be an outsider to them.
 
Her only hope is for CMC to eventually get their marks so she could become an equal friend. As long as SS can ditch Diamond Tiara she can gain trust of the blank flanks. You know DT isn’t the kind of pony who’d suddenly change her attitude towards them even if they actually got their CMs, she just needs a reason to look down on them and she’ll find another one if she has to, but SS doesn’t seem to be that stuck up.

This is…actually really powerful.

While playing with the CMC, Diamond Tiara was seen under a shady tree. SS went there to ask her on becoming friends again in which DT declines. The CMC then go and help (much to Scootaloo’s and Sweetie Belle’s disapproval) and try to become friends with her. After they failed, the 4 left DT and went to their clubhouse. DT then has a long scene where she thinks about friendship and stuff, and decided to go and become friends with the CMC (and SS again). And then the Five write a letter to Princess Celestia (or maybe their own friendship journal).

An episode like that could be nice. I bet it’d go something like this:  
Silver Spoon has a fall out with Diamond Tiara. Then, after finding her hanging about alone and dejected, the CMC take pity on her (or more likely only one of them — probably Sweetie Belle — while the two others are still wary of her) and invite her to join them on their activities. Silver Spoon agrees, at first because she doesn’t have anything better to do and hopes to have a good laugh at the blank flanks’ expense, then realizes that she’s genuinely enjoying herself in their company. Meanwhile, Diamond Tiara realizes how shallow and lonesome her life actually is without her best friend by her side…
