Scootaloo will get her cutie mark when she realizes she’s the only pegasus in the world that can fly without leaving the ground.

So now in Equestria, there are TVs streaming whatever the Cutie Mark Crusaders are doing at all time? :D

Whether Scootaloo is disabled or not, she’s clearly not going to fly because it’d go against the episode’s summary (about her thinking she needs to fly) and the lesson of the episode itself. But if it ends with her still not getting her cutie mark, after what will probably be a life-changing experience of some sort, it’ll be a waste and just another “CMC episode”.

Is that Randy Marsh’s new television from “South Park”?

Probably, in that the two of them will be visibly improving and Scootaloo falling way behind. And then Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon will come in and make everything much worse.
 
I pretty much expect Sweetie Belle to be using basic magic to hammer the point in further that Scootaloo’s lack of flight by this point isn’t normal. Aside from the Pound Cake argument that gets thrown around, Dash was younger than Scootaloo is now when she was in flight school.
 
So, yeah. Disabled Scootaloo is probably going to be made canon and I’m not sure how to feel about it.

My guess: montage of Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle developing their respective magics, followed by Scootaloo trying and failing to fly.
