Reminds me of that creepy looking soldier always wearing a gas mask in that one album cover of “Sodom - Persecution Mania”.
 
I’ll bet his face behind the mask in that album cover has like tentacles crawling out of his eyes and all grim-dark looking.

I miss the show so much
That’s clearly an Uzi, and to my not-gun-expert eyes the stock looks like folded. Wikipedia says Uzi is 470 millimeters long when the stock is folded.
 
Abusing Inkscape as a measurement tool, the gun is 489 pixels long and Fluttershy is 856 pixels tall. So she’s approximately (856/489)*470=822 millimeters, or 82,2 centimeters tall when standing on two legs. I excluded her ears and mane.
