If a child comes across something of a dubious nature, it is not the fault of the internet, nor anyone utilizing it, for creating/hosting the content. It is the fault of the parent for not either monitoring their child, or initiating filters on their computer.

If a kid gets their mitts on a copy of Erica Jong’s “Fear of Flying”, it’s not the goddamn book’s fault for being a dirty read, nor the author’s fault for penning it.

Are you sure? Whatever, I don’t want to start an opinion war about if the bronies have influenced the show or not, since it would not bring us anywhere (since it is alsoa matter of way of thinking).

Also, as “Part of the innocence lost” I meant it on a broader sense that did not limited to the show in itself, namely “A little girl might stumble upon a gory video of Cupcakes while looking for the song, but, at the same time, she might found a good remix done by a good brony musician.”

>Yes, the bronies destroyed part of the show’s innocence

Actually they didn’t. The tone of the show hasn’t changed much since S2, and S2 was created before the fandom even existed, so…yeah.

I don’t think that’s very hard to understand.

The bornies are the macedonians/greeks, the target demographic (and the discrimination that comes with it) is the PErsian Empire, and MLP is Middle East.

Yes, the bronies destroyed part of the show’s innocence, but the result of the mix are glorious.
