Here on Earth, even in places where women outnumber men 3 to 2, adultery is usually still a crime. Doesn’t stop it from happening (a lot, in some cases), but I’m just sayin’, it likely still would be in the Empire, too.

Is adultery a crime in Equestria? Probably, especially when one of the accused is a member of the royal family. That would actually be a pretty good fiction, now that I think about it; a misunderstanding causes one of the Mane 6 to be labeled an adulteress, and the others have to clear her name.
