Agreed. Personally, I was OK with the changes from The Last Roundup, even though I didn’t think it was actually offensive.
But it’s good to see her back with support from Hasbro and DHX officially.
They’re a well-established company, no doubt about it, but they’re not always right. Even the best stumble occasionally. Still, Derpy’s back and her eyes are perfect, so I guess that’s more than they had to do, strictly speaking. I’m not crazy about them silencing her and not saying her name, but such is life. We have reason to be happy.
It’s logical.
But when you’ve been in Hasbro’s position for so long and have done so well, I don’t doubt their business practices in the least.
Ferrotter is plain awesome in many respects.

Probably two things:
After the backlash, they probably wanted to play it safe. Sound business decision.
Once they figured out “We’ll approach it like this,” they were probably making up scripts for Season 4.
And the best part is if they try to do anything about this they will be sending the message that people with disabilities have no right to do what people without can do. :D
