I think that’s a little harsh to say, but I do agree that the episodes that focus on them trying to get cutie marks are mediocre. Mostly because it’s unlikely they’ll ever get them during the course of the series, so any episode focusing on it is pretty pointless because they never actually learn anything to get themselves closer. In that regard they’re still basically the same as they were in season one.
