I have a new favorite insult.
And yet people are still expecting a LunaMac or FleetfoorMac moment to pop up in the show.
If I remember right, wasn’t there some observation that the comic and show staff at least communicate once in awhile?
I’m sure that if so, said communication is about big things like, “Hey, are you going to use Sombra again in season 4? Coz if not, we’d like to use him for a story arc in the comics,” rather than, “Now make sure you remember that (pony A) has blue eyes and a cushion cutie-mark.”
No one thought these guys weren’t being goofy, but it is true that the comics don’t influence the show much. Like, at all.
Which is a shame, really. I mean, real friends won’t hesitate to kick you while you’re down. In good fun, of course.
I think F91F was just commenting on a couple people in this thread who didn’t take these tweets as playful jesting.
Andy’s reaction is intentionally over the top. The first guy was just observing the difference.
I thought so since the very first comic. It was too different to think of it as being part of the same overall storyline, and instead was relegated in my mind to an official derivative.
You just know Katie Cook did the lip quiver as she typed that.
