Description
The butterfly witch. Her nature is kindness. She wants to care for lost and hurt animals but all she can do is scare them away. Her barrier is filled with plants and fauna that she’s very protective of, those who hurt either will earn her wrath.
I think Fluttershy would hate being a Magical Filly from the beginning. Her special talent involves acceptance and raising of all creatures, and rather than negotiating and taming the Witches, she was required to kill them in exchange for a rather anti-climatic (at the time, anyway) reward. The only thing that would keep her going would probably be the fact she was saving other ponies from dying at the hands of a monster. Still, the guilt she felt over failing to gain the love of a creature might just send the gentle filly mad, eventually resulting in her Soul Gem shattering before she could even find out what it was.
If she DID live long enough, I imagine she would be absolutely appalled to find out, and be driven mad that way (kind of like Sayaka. Sadly, though, I can kind of see Fluttershy being happy that her gem was about to break; she would see it as an end to her pain, and she was about to become one of the creatures she longed to tame so much.
THIS IS JUST MY IDEA.

Actually, the runes read as “XERCES BLUE”. Xerces blue is actually an extinct species of butterfly.
