I use filler to describe episodes that don’t directly involve the story arch that is supposed to be spread out over season 4.  
Im not saying that the eps that don’t involve a rainbow key, the mystery box or the old castle are bad. But they don’t contribute to the keys, box or castle.

Filler episodes? Is that what you call every episode that doesn’t involve a key. That’s 20 episodes. The show has princess Twilight and the old castle to deal with.

Eh, its only episode 15 out of 26, with eps 25 and 26 reserved for possible two part season finale.  
The last four ponies will get their keys at some point, between now and the season finale, I am just kind of hoping they won’t all receive their keys too quickly and then there is a huge gap of filler eps until the finale when they Finally open that box!

There’s an episode 1 month away from now called “TWIIGHT Time”. And judging by the title and the synopsis, that episode will be about Twilight’s key.

Yah I think Twi will get her key last, probably before or during the season finale.  
I would laugh my ass off if Twi’s key were the Twilight Scepter.

The other five come together with her, there’s that “Spark” (only this time it’s a literal rainbow) and there you have it.

Speaking of the Keys, I can’t help but wonder how they’re going to handle Twilight’s Key. They get their MacGuffins by inspiring their Elements in others, but Twilight is the Element of Magic. How’s that going to work?
