I know what you mean, I’m conflicted a bit because when I think of Weird Al I think of an awesome 40 year old (I know he’s 50 now, that doesn’t help either). When I saw he was the same age as Pinkie I was surprised, I automatically assumed he was older because, well, Weird Al.
 
With all that said, I can’t help but to ship this. Hard. They are so freaking cute and perfect.

Both the fact that Cheese is voiced by Weird Al, and in a way a ponification of him, and the fact that he may or may not ever show up again makes this ship feel really, really…weird, to say the least. Although I couldn’t help but chuckle when I saw this scene at the fact that people are, of course, going to start shipping them. This was a sweet moment though, for sure, and a one-sided crush on Cheese’s part would be funny.
 
I just gotta say it though - as someone who likes the PinkieDash friendship/ship, this episode was great. XD

A shy boy who becomes a superduper party pony thanks to Pinkie and who then shows up and is, as Pinkie says, a superduper amazing party pony just like her and then both make a party and have the time of her life? Great!!!

When I heard about Cheese Sandwich I thought, “Do I ship them? Should I ship them? Based on what, they’re both party ponies? Seems lazy, nah probably not, if I want to work that angle I’ll go Trixpie.”
 
Then I saw the episode and holy hell I can’t not ship these two.
