First of all, I want to apologize for my behavior earlier. Spamming every piece of my art with the same comment was unprofessional, unnecessary, and immature of me. You all have
the right to hate on me for that.
Apology aside: I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time: putting a cartoon character in a real-life picture. You know, something that Pete’s Dragon and Who Framed Roger Rabbit did, except slightly different. How? It isn’t just Applejack, but the fact that I tried to make her fit in the environment with the lighting and shadows. It probably didn’t work like I had hoped. Oh well.
In any case, tell me what you guys think and let me know what I should and shouldn’t do if I ever plan to do this again.
By the way, that’s homemade applesauce she’s having, and by God it’s one of the best damned applesauces ever made.

Now that you mention it, the light on her rear does look pretty strong, considering her distance from the source and its intensity. Also, the light itself isn’t the right shade of blue.
Okay, now I’m just nitpicking here.

what i mean by the lighthing on her butt, is that it looks a bit too strong. i did noticed were it comes from :V
and her ear looks too plain.

Perhaps he means that the ears need to look more concave by shading the inside of it.
That’s a good guess, but actually this was all done in Paint Tool Sai. As for why Applejack looks a bit strange, I didn’t use Photoshop to help me along (like copying the table and pasting it above Applejack and some bits of it below her to give the impression that her arms are really there). I will use it next time and draw the ponies on paper instead of the computer. About the shading: it was pretty dark when I took this picture. The blue light on her right are supposed to be reflections from outside. I don’t know what you mean by the ears needing to be 3D, though.

arting is pretty decent overall.
-the hard shading still needs to be a bit lighter (unless you are into that whole neon/metalic shading, its tacky as fuck)
-mane needs to cast a shade in her face.
-talking aboout her mane, you got the tuff at the end of it wrong, it just looks odd to me.
-the anatomy and face look decent enough. though that line on her left arm makes it look a realy broken, dont know how to avoid that though…
-you need to 3D the ears.
-the lighting on her butt also looks a bit too solid.
my conclusion is:
this is obviously photoshoped/10
D’uh to discover their properties obviously. How many, that would depend on her Alchemy level
