Looks and sounds like a bog standern grimdark war story so yeah

i might be alone in thinking this, but i don’t really like this series all that much.

Its a fairly dark war story. I personally really like it, as I love the characters the author has created and the world building he has done. Its not for everyone though. In particular the 2nd story introduces a group of OCs that play a major role and some people argue they seem mary-sueish. I personally don’t see it as they clearly have flaws, they just take a while to come out. It can be fairly brutal at times though so if that’s not your thing you might wanna stay away. There is a fairly good fan made audio book version on Youtube if you prefer that to reading it.

I’m guessing that’s the sequel to Upheaval: Breaking Point? How are these stories anyway?
