Not nearly as many people are going to ship them if they recognize them as brother and sister. Duh. I mean of course there will always be a few insisting on an incest pairing, but its hardly the majority. Don’t spend time worrying about that minority.

Oh Lyrabon fans, you just can’t prevent a ship from starting the same way your ship did.

I don’t see a horn on Noteworthy. So I don’t think they’re related, Unless there’s some bullshit excuse like Carrot Cake made to explain why his kids are 2 different types of ponies.

It’s not ship, they are brother and sister.

True enough, but according to Scootaloo’s episode, it isn’t nearly equal enough to be a defining feature as it is in Ponyville.
 
Realistically, Celestia still carries the unicorn monarchy in Canterlot. It shows in Prince Blue Blood, Fancy Pants, and the numerous other unicorns in the higher class. There’s obviously some unicorn=better chance at higher class there.
 
I’m trying to say kids between a unicorn and a earth pony are realistically going to happen more in Ponyville then in Canterlot.

Also its cool that we can say that about a earth pony and a unicorn, a brother and a sister. Makes Ponyville feel more real in the whole ‘all 3 pony types’ living together aspect. :)

Vinyl is with Neon Lights.  
Lyra is with Noteworthy.
 
Bon Bon has been shipped with Caramel in the past.

Wait. Noteworthy writes out musical notes. Lyra plays them! Its no wonder these two were supposedly were dating!

I like this ship better than Lyrabon. There should be more of this ship.

On this cartoon. Ponies don’t need the same traits to be related. Applejack and Applebloom don’t have the Cake twins aren’t earth ponies like their parents. These two could just hace THAT much in common. Hurray to the new ship!

The background story, Lyra (if it is same Lyra we know) falls in love with Noteworthy who played music together.

Can’t both ships coexist. Niether one has to sink.
