The real answer is they probably didn’t want to make one of Pinkie’s well-known sisters an asshole and/or a stick in the mud like she probably is in the episode in case they want to do something with them.

but the whole thing just confuses me, unlike Twilight, who had no know siblings before Shining Armor, Pinkie already had 2, inserting a third one to use her in a plot instead of using the other two tortures my mind, is struggling to understand.
