She looks like the spitting image of her mother, however her coat-color is a bit pinker, but otherwise the name wouldn’t have fit as well. She wears her hair short because of her tomboyish ways. She is 75% pony and 25% dragon with the ability of flight. She has a slight problem with her eye-sight (She’s a bit near-sighted) and has trouble landing which has caused a few broken legs from time to time but she heals doubly quick with her dragon blood. Her tail is slightly shorter because of the pony-genes that are becoming less recessive but it doesn’t deter her at all.
She’s quite a plucky and loveable mare, full of life and joy. She has a lot of moxxy and loves to tussle and have fun with the boys rather than deal with forest animals and girly things like that, despite her appearance. She adores Rainbow Dash and her son Prism Bolt, how Rainbow Dash was never brought down by ‘pretty things’ (which Azalea hates with the dark fiery burn of Tartarus) and is so cool and so fast. She likes her son to a moot point but is sometimes annoyed by how he acts, but she pushes through it in order to maintain friendly contact with his mother. She also likes Pinkie Pie and her daughter as well, but she prefers to remain rather grounded or flying than ‘plonking’ about with the older mare and her daughter.
Aza really loves her cousin Havoc, and loves to visit him any time she has any free time. She goes out of her way to try and see him, and his family, but also hopes to talk to Starburst. She also looks up to Starburst, the first mare Captain of the Royal Guard. Despite how Starburst gives Havoc the cold shoulder, Aza wants to model herself after Starburst and practically begs Starburst to become her mentor. She would ask her father, but she wants to be the very best, and being mentored by the CAPTAIN of the Royal Guard would be the very peak of awesome.
You can usually see her flying about Ponyville and around the Everfree forest, helping her mother tend to plants and other animals and doing chores. She takes up a job delivering food and supplies to ponies across town for a few extra bits a day so she can afford a set of faux Royal Guard armor. When you see her in Canterlot, she mainly hovers around the training grounds and sometimes sneaks into Guard Posts and meetings to get in extra training and knowledge of the workings of the Royal Guard. Whenever she is caught she is kicked out, but she is mostly humored by the Guard.
Azalea hopes to one day be the next mare Captain of the Royal Guard. Perhaps Starburst is a little threatened by that wish.
Typo. Meant “75% Pony and 25% dragon”.
