We members of Desktop Ponies team have reported stolen content on 2011 and they still haven’t taken it down.
Most of those thieves have uploaded their stolen things here and whenever DB’s staff takes it down, the thieves (or friends) reupload it again because fuck the rules, thay are all about getting attention at other people’s expenses.
The only thing that can be done is leaving messages on the groups the thieves have joined and expose them as the frauds they are on the offhand chance that the group’s admins aren’t in cahoots with the thieves and boot them out.
The artist’s only recourse is to file a DMCA claim for every single infraction, something only someone over 18 can do and requires disclosing personal information and puts the claimant in a very vulnerable situation.
Any site that requires DMCA claims (or similar) for this sort of thing is fucking shit and loudly proclaims how little they care about artists themselves.
I reported stolen artwork 6 months ago on DA.
I came across it again only to see it still there.

I’m not so sure about that.
There’s a person that filled their entire gallery with stolen art, and I reported literally every piece of it, and last I saw, their gallery was up.
Even the mods don’t care about dA anymore.
