I guess Tintin was pretty popular.
I didn’t! Only the most recent CGI one of The Crab with the Golden Claws…which apparently was also a stop-motion film in 1947, huh.
I’d kind of like to see someone do “Alpha-X”, which Hergé was working on when he died. Their take on it wouldn’t be as good, but it’d still be cool.
Did you know that the show was popular enough to have a movie tie-in? That movie was surprisingly well-done, in my opinion. Nice animation, gripping story, epic action sequences, the dialog is really strong, and the motion capture was spot-on.
That was pretty well animated, though I only found out about it relatively recently. I did notice that it really highlighted just how many times Tintin gets hit upside the head and knocked out.

Mine, too, the English translations are great.

I have a feeling Captain Haddock would get along with Berry Punch.
