Besides. What makes you think she isn’t phased by things? She could be really excited, nervous, and happy to meet pinkie’s friends, but she can’t show it. One of the only ponies that can SEE it, is pinkie pie.

Pinkie thought that Cranky desperately needed friends to be happy.
Maud is already her BSBBF. She knows how she’ll positively react to things.
Maybe Pinkie just has the maturity to accept her sister being different from her after living with her for so long. Ever think of that?
So Pinkie can make Doodle fully smile and show pearly whites, But She can’t really phase her own older sister. Well that makes very little sense.
A little Maalox will fix that.
