It’s like Prof.NightJack said. People are filtering OC pictures out. But that only works if OCs get tagged.
So while this and other tags are not considered mandatory they are still important for our filtering and search system.
I meant the tags it won’t let me post without but ok. Plus that seams more like a ‘hey if you could’ not a rule.
I never said I wouldn’t, fyi. Hell I didn’t even know people gave a shit about OC tags until now, so.
Then see this post as polite demand by the site:

Nah. TBH I never really have tagged my OCs, mainly because I just tag what the site demands me too.
So? If they get tagged they get tagged, if not oh well.

A lot of people, it’s why we have filters, some don’t want to see some things so they add it to their filter list.
But who really cares?
Oh shut up, I was only getting on him for NEVER using it, I checked his uploads and it was a tag added later every time.
People see stuff they don’t like, that’s life. Getting upset over something like not tagging an OC is really silly, you know. It got tagged regardless, so being so whiny about it doesn’t help your case.
Who the fuck cares if it’s “triggering” we have filters so people can filter out what they doesn’t want to see, and if that is OCs they put the ‘oc’ tag in their filter to not see them, so triggering or not it’s jerkish to not tag it.
It’s not like a pony OC is triggering, so if they don’t wanna see it then big wop really.
Lets say someone doesn’t want to see any OCs, well by not tagging it with the tag ‘oc’ you are being a jerk to the ones that do not want to see it.
I don’t see how anyone not tagging ‘oc’ makes them a jerk, but ok.
There are a lot of tag that if you not put one isn’t breaking any rules but you have to think, the tag is there for a number of reasons so don’t be a jerk and not put needed tags.
