Ahhh, THIS takes me back! I know what other people mean, schools have a tendency to teach maths in a way that causes students to develop a hatred - or at least an apathy - of it. Which is sad, and maths is crucial to everything we do really.
 
Also I’m pretty sure I recognise the equations and text in the background of the picture, that really takes me back. Calculating eigenvalues and inserting them into the Schroedinger Equation to calculate the possible states of a system, and using the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle too, on the rhs there. Ahh, I remember that…not very well, I failed that course (Intro to Quantum Theory) with only about 33%. xD

I think the educational system beats the love of math out of people, though. I absolutely want to learn differential geometry so bad, for example - but seeing it written up there with questions where I’m expected to know about it? That makes me fear it.

I hate math and I’m good at it. I don’t think anyone truly likes math, they just tolerate it because it’s needed.

Hahahaha! While BYU doesn’t have a spring break, we mourn, but when the rest of the world mourns their finals, we laugh and celebrate the fact that ours are already over! xD
