It’s about time we got another sister moment between these two. The only time they’ve interacted since that heartfelt moment in Sleepless in Ponyville LAST BUCKING SEASON was Flight to the Finish, where that sense of sister relationship just wasn’t there for me, seeing as the focus was on Scootaloo’s relationship with the CMC, not Dash, and Dash was acting more as a mentor, not a sister. They didn’t really seem to even acknowledge their new-found relationship, frankly.
 
It was okay overall, just not what I was hoping for, for the first Dash/Scoots interactions since SiP.
 
Also, this scene was practically a callback to the end of The Show Stoppers, in-where Dash, Applejack and Rarity also were waiting to congratulate the CMC after a big performance. Only this time, we get the Scoots and Dash interactions we’ve been waiting for.
