I really like how these look like actual transformations. The Elements of Harmony felt boring and shoehorned in, but Rainbow Power actually has story/lore behind it.
 
Also Rainbow Dash appears to be part Saiyan.

The designs actually worked a lot better in motion than they did in still art.
 
I particularly liked the way the colors in Rainbow Dash’s mane became all fluid and constantly in motion, like Celestia’s.
