Nobody remembers the humans any longer.
The “human” part of Scorpan is totally ignored in the little speech by Celestia in MLPFiM.
G4 really seems to be just a reboot of the entire serie with a total exclusion of humans in the canon world.
Somepony can do that ? Can we canon twice :C ?

He could have lost time of how long he was in Tartarus.
And checking every relative to everybody in Tartarus and inform them when somebody dies is probably a very low priority.
In fact, we can hear Tirek saying “blablabla, as useless as he is”, talking about the necklace he gave to Discord, “he”, being about his brother Scorpan.
Then Scorpan is still alive, unless Tirek would have say “as useless as he was”.
It would even be a good S5 premiere.
Scorpan comes back after hearing about Tirek’s escape and defeat, but finds the ponies of Equestria are uneasy about the fact that he’s Tirek’s brother.
My only concerns are that this particular idea would be a bit too much like ‘Bridle Gossip’, and that I’m unsure how it would work as a two-parter, if that’s to be the case.
Hopefully he’ll make his appearance yet.
