After Spike being tortured and used as a punching bag, the fans wanted to give him a “new” character development by begging the writers to do so because they couldn’t stand any of that.
 
Spike got all credit for no reason in “The Crystal Empire” despite all the hard work and roles the other characters had played. Like Twilight, she did most of it.
 
In “Gauntlet of Fire,” I was wondering where Garble’s hatred of ponies came from and why anyone would invade an entire land to get something more comfortable to sleep on instead of rocks. And dragons aren’t able to use magic, so they are without a doubt weak and harmless enough.

OP, you seem to think that Spike’s the only character that’s ever gotten hurt in any episode of MLP:FiM.
 
Do I like the way Spike is treated in the show? Eh. There’s room for improvement. It’s a far cry from outright abuse, however.

OK, so now Spike blurting out something that’s true but inappropriate is considered Spikeabuse? I thought that sort of thing is why people liked him to begin with.
 
So what does OP want? That nothing bad should ever happen to Spike, and he should get his cake, his pet, and his puppy love crush totes genuine love of his life?

There are few people I respect less than those trying to impede the creative vision of others.

They change the last roundup,and 4kids change a scene in one episode of the 2003 TMNT cartoon. I don’t see why they can’t change these?
