Agreed. Who knows what these characters might think about an issue or opinion? Only the creators of the characters know. You can’t say for sure that Twilight or Fluttershy or whoever would even support your opinion.

you reap what you sow: you get out what you put in, if you treat others respectfully it’s more likely they will return the favour but if you treat others with hate and disdain you will most likely just get it right back in your face (reaping is harvesting and sowing is like putting seeds in the ground)

Yes, most people who feel the privilege to harass others tend to claim that their victims are not respectful enough, and wrong to expect decency from others. The whole thing would be less messy if people didn’t think that having a (presumably) valid point meant that they could be discourteous.

Still hate the condescending “I am content to be more right than you” facial expression that universally appears in these images, but at least this one states a useful rule that doesn’t involve any political bandwagons.

And I can actually imagine Applejack saying it in the show.

It’s not necessarily a complaint. As with similar concepts, reserving the term “mouthpiece” for the “bad” ones just makes them look worse than they actually are.

‘mouthpiece’ tag? C’mon. This is just common sense, y’all. No opinions here.

I think we’ve reached that point where the people complaining about the so-called problem have become worse than the problem ever was.
