Well, sadly people expect the flu shot to be 100% when it isn’t.
 
Therefore denying any sick time off, because the vaccine was supposed to prevent it.
 
(Pro Vaccine, just so you know, but please for goodness sake, do not expect it to be 100%!)

Whatever, I’m not a doctor, I just think that if it’s not working right, there’s a case to be made for not doing it until you find out what the problem is.

Flu is a catch-all term referring to the symptoms you get when your body overreacts to all the pollen or other detritus floating in the air during spring of autumn. Simply put, your immune system is going to freak out this particular year to the scary plant pollen, or not. The only thing flu shots do is immunize you to the other, actually harmful diseases that could take hold while your body is distracted by the tree terrors.

I hate getting blood drawn too. One time I was so scared of getting blood drawn I literally had to be held down.
 
And then there was the time that I was so nervous I jumped when they put the needle in, which meant they had do do it again, so that sucked.
 
Though I also hate needles in general, so, um, yeah.

Weirdly enough, I’m okay with getting shots. I don’t like it, but I can suck it up and I’ll be fine.
 
Getting blood drawn though… whenever I have a blood test I have to be laying down when they do it or I’ll keel over.
