Yup in some strange way its like us when it comes to going to school to get an education it took time but we eventually got one.
Yeah, I kinda like how even though they don’t have their cutie-marks yet, they seem to be growing up in other subtle ways.
The CMC are growing up with the audience/show I would be bored if characters never changed.
Adventure time is unfortunately to random for me to get into but I see your point.
Reminds me of thee lack of good Anime that is not harem crap that has been done over 9000 times.
Yeah, I can see them getting their marks someday perhaps. Surprisingly, in S4 the CMC seemed less focused on cutie-marks, and seemed to get less bothered/offended by Diamond & Spoon’s remarks. So in some ways they have had some subtle character-development as you say. It’d be nice if more kids/family shows did that, but the only other one I can think of is “Adventure Time.” (Like how Ice King became more friendly torwards his rivals/enemies Finn & Jake for instance.)
I’m glad these things have happened
its character development something a lot of shows lack these days i’m surprised the form of media that actually gets emotion from me is a show aimed for kids (yes i know Faust made it for both kids and parents)
So I believe when the show ends (all good things must end) that the CMC will get their cutie marks and Scoots will be able to fly I mean its a plot device and I don’t believe the show’s staff will pull a cop out unless if Hasbro does some BS cash grab.
Well, she did use her magic in an episode after “Twilight Time,” so it looks like she’ll be able to levitate things like other unicorns in the show can do. It’s kinda cute, makes it seem like they’re “growing-up” in a subtle way.
I am curious if that means Scoots will be able to fly, or if they’ll just go with that concept Lauren Faust originally had of her being handicapped, or unable to fly. (Either direction, I don’t mind, but the “handicapped” one might be to sad for some fans.)

Anyways on her best days she reminds me of Applebloom and in her worse she is kind of like Sweetie Bell and she kind of has “streaks” of Scootlaloo.
