Well… There’s going on with your life… And then it’s acting like nothing ever happened. Specially in this arc, where Luna explicitally says Celestia should have brought her back from them moon instead of hanging with another Luna… Clearly forgetting that she was Nightmare Moon, she wanted to bring Eternal Night, her sister banished her for her own safety and that of the kingdom, and she never expected to meet AlterLuna in the first place.  
tl;dr This Luna acts like Nightmare Moon never happened ever.

Actually, when you look at Celestia’s facial expression as she mentions Discord’s betrayal and when Luna brings up when Tirek will come for their Alicorn magic, you can see that Celestia has a look of regret and remorse on her face for having thought Discord would bring Tirek back to Tartarus in shackles, only to learn that Tirek played off Discord’s ego for mischief, and convinced him to rejoin the Dark Side.
 
She thought Discord had truly turned good, but the look she gives us at the end of Keep Calm and Flutter On proves that she still had second thoughts, and now they had proven correct with Discord agreeing to rejoin the Dark Side and help Tirek.

i have comics here. let us see….. her saying visiting was explaining her entering this alternate world. there is no other word that better explains what she is doing. she was not visiting there for no reason.  
also as you seem incapable of comprehending, Sombra knows the spell that would allow access into her world, and the alternate celestia was trying to force sombra to share it. and it is kinda obvious where she learned of the existence of an alternate world from. considering alternate luna had a long standing relationship with her.
 
also let us also take into account that celestia explains that she followed starswhirls warnings at first. she did not start visiting behind his backuntil after the nightmare moon incident. the harm that was occuring was uncertain and minor, mostly strange synchronized events or decisions. they only grew bad from celestia’s repeated visits to this alternate world.
 
also the fact that it is both hinted, and stated in the latest previews, that celestia long ago stopped the visits altogether. she has not been traveling there for a thousand years. they stopped, and she was forced to grow up.  
seems more logical that she was asked for aid by sombra after alternate luna turned and he found himself outmatched

I thought that he pulled out the bouquet as an apology.

Since its finally bounced back to the writers, and I think I’ve explained my opinion enough, I think we should call it a day.
 
It was good talking with you Sjogre. :) It was interesting and educating bouncing our different views of Discord off eachother.

‘learning the value of friendship’ rarely has to do with current romantic interest. I scratched my head at it, but apparently the D wants a bit of the C.
 
A hot date is usually enough compensation for not showing off your ego. Plus, to stay a Trickster, you have to be considered annoying, not hated. As long as he’s in Celestia’s good graces, he’s in the populace’s good graces (to a degree). As long as he’s in Fluttershy’s good graces, he’s in the Mane 6’s good graces (to a lower degree).

Actually, why does it matter anyway? Celestia can’t do crap to him.
 
Your reason against Discord betraying them relies on Discord assuming that he was going to be successfully betrayed and Tirek defeated at the start. While Discord was an idiot to not see Tirek’s betrayal coming, that kind of plotting is not unusual for this show, and Discord has a history of overconfidence that makes it very plausible. In all of his previous appearances, aside from maybe Keep Calm, he was caught off guard because of his arrogance.
 
Basically, it comes down to a short period of playing his favorite games, versus an eternity of playing his favorite games.
 
Also? Discord never got to take credit for the betrayal plan, and he’s very much the type to stroke his own ego. He owned up to the plunder vines for no plausible reason besides wanting to take credit for their havoc, so it’s absurdly unlikely that he’d let a plan like that go without a remark.
 
Anyway, Luna did that at the BEGINNING of the episode, so why even bring it up?
 
Because you brought it up? You asked what plan Chrysalis had to keep Luna asleep during the wedding, so I mentioned that Luna was staying outside of Canterlot during the day.

The anonymous tip that Shining Armor mentioned that Canterlot might be attacked.
 
The tip itself was the key to both getting Luna out of the way and get Shining’s alibi perfect with ‘barrier strain’
 
Luna would of been OBSESSED with making sure Canterlot would not be attacked if they heard a tip like that. She would fly around Canterlot and man the telescope constantly inside the barrier, and warn any stray pony to be careful. We saw this in the episode.
 
This is post-Nightmare Moon, she is still extremely guilt ridden by the terror she caused AS Nightmare Moon. We see this when she stares at her own statue in Luna Eclipsed.
 
She would of done everything to try to redeem herself by vigilantly watching the night. By the time the wedding happened, she would of been absolutely exhausted.
 
The anonymous tip also gave Shining a reason to raise the barrier. If someone witnessed Chrysalis brainwashing Shining with magic, brainwashed Shining would of said it was just barrier strain and Cadence was healing her. And sense Chrysalis had control over Shining, she could make the barrier break anytime she wanted.

Fake-betrayal: Thanks from Celestia that he helped arrange Twilight to become the only important hero in the scenario. He gets to cause mischief AND gets a free pass from Celestia. Win-Win.
 
Real Betrayal: Discord gets to cause some mischief by betraying the kingdom, then his IQ drops down 50 points. Celestia gave Discord this one chance to prove he was a good guy, and Celestia would of been absolutley furious with both Discord’s betrayal and herself for trusting Discord. Considering how he let her rot in the thorns in PTS, she might never trust him again. Win-Lose.

I have absolutely ZERO reason to believe you on that. Its an EXTREMELY common copout answer.
 
I addressed all the points that you made that I could find. If I missed something, then I didn’t realize that it was a point.
 
Also, due to how the format of the discussion spread, we both ended up repeating ourselves multiple times.

She didn’t. Chrysalis didn’t plan on attacking then. She was planning on getting through the wedding without being made.
 
And Luna was specifically shown flying in from outside the shield. She wasn’t in Canterlot during the day, hence why she was uninvolved.

I assure you all of my points led back to the main subject. And if they were irrelevant, you could of addressed and dismissed them extremely quickly. You are continuing to make more and more stretches, making your argument less and less unlikely.
 
What’s worse, you give way too many subjective arguments as fact.
 
ex. “If Chrysalis wanted Cadence dead, she would have killed Cadence herself. Cadence’s special power meant that Cadence was the most valuable person in the country.
 
Heck, Chrysalis wasn’t even planning on Twilight realizing that something was wrong. She wasn’t planning jack at the time.”
