@Sr Pelusa
Not only will they not do an MLP/Transformers Corssover, they’ve stopped doing non-G1 Transformers comics. They said they didn’t want to do any more Transformers comics outside their main continuity or something along those lines… Which is bull, ’cause the upcoming G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover is in its own continuity.
>motherfucking Samurai Jack comic
My spirits have been immediately uplifted, and trousers tightened!
STOP! STOP THE PLANET! I WANNA GET OUT!
I mean… WHAT? What the fuck are they smoking at IDW to come up with that idea, and where can I score some?
Yes, and they are making a Dick Tracy crossover. IDW cannot make a Transformers/MLP comic but they will make a Dick Tracy/AB comic…
THERE’S A MOTHERFUCKING COMIC BEING MADE?
Jesus CHRIST, how the FUCK is this thing so damn popular? I will never understand this to the end of my days.

*DVDs
Yeah, but it kind of is ironic if that’s the right word. One of the issues was made to break the Guinness world record for most covers to the same issue. Somewhere around 350 or so.
Thing is that those DADs are niche.
Weird thing is, Nintendo still allows DVDs of the old Mario cartoons to be sold in stores, and such.
Also, doesn’t IDW do a Godzilla comic ironically?
Nintendo is very picky about how their characters are shown, even Bowser’s minor cameo in Wreck-It-Ralph was apparently one of the most annoying things that the people who made it had to deal with since they kept having incredibly minor changes to him.
Those franchises are to Nintendo like Godzilla is to Toho. No one is going to do anything with them but them.
No, there hasn’t been an officially-licensed Super Mario series sense 1991 ones by Valiant Comics for their “Nintendo Comics System” line.
Which Valiant abruptly cancelled, (before they even had a chance to adapt Yoshi, but they did manage to adapt “Dr. Mario”) and all their other licensed comics, so they could focus on their original series apparently…
(This is why I’d prefer Archie, or IDW doing a Mario comic, those 2 companies actually care about their licensed comics.)
Closest thing we had sense then were Nintendo Power’s “Super Mario Adventures” comics also from the early ’90s.
I thought there was some Mario comics already existing ??? (granted they were one-shots as far as i remember)
In fact, they turned down offers from Archie Comics to do a mini-series based on Mario, Metroid, and Kirby (look up Tracy Yardley’s art/pages from the pitch) which is a shame, ’cause I feel they do a good job on their Megaman, and Sonic comics.
