It’s saddening when you think about it; in 1969, we actually didn’t have the technology to fake a moon landing (technology-wise, it would’ve been way easier just to go to the moon itself rather than fake it).
Sadly, in this day an age, we DO have crazy film-making technology and CGI, so if anyone ever makes it to the moon in these modern times, morons would cry fake and we wouldn’t be able to debunk them.
Not that they bother listening to us debunking the 1969 one. :/
45 years ago today, and the moon landings lasted only for three years. And since then, man has only ventured into low Earth orbit.
It’s almost not surprising there are crackpots who think the whole thing was faked. If this keeps up, centuries from now it’ll be considered a myth.

I guess I’ve been told.
“National Moon Day is celebrated annually on July 20 and commemorates the day man first walked on the moon in 1969.”
They have got to be making this one up.
