I mean, living in a Baltic post-Soviet country of less than 1.5 million people for two decades, with barely anything happening in general and practically nothing Bronycon-related; then moving away to a 12k town about 100 miles away from Berlin.
 
Definately not third world, and I’m pretty sure there are meetups in the city, but it’d require a vehicle and/or local language skills to get there, which are being worked on.
 
Not apocalyptic, but I’m afraid there’s a chance there would be no such meetups by the time I’ll be able to attend one…

Well the local group of bronies in my city used to organize a few meetups several times a year, not sure if they still do them thought.
 
Also traveling to one of the biggest cons in the US is const prohibitive. Even somewhere as close as Mexico. I have seen a few guys doing it, but they were not exactly poor
