The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

>Intelligence: 3(Learned)
I suppose it takes a certain amount of brains to run a magic show, so I’ll you this… Even if trying to beat an angry Ursa Minor with parlor tricks is just asking to be removed from the gene pool.
>Strength: 3(Peak human, 800 pound limit)
She’s no Earth pony and never showed any real feats of strength, so I’m going with a 2 for Normal for Trixie.
>Speed: 2(Normal)
Heh, she never even showed if she could teleport, so this is fine by me.
>Stamina: 4(Regenerative)
There’s no proof she can heal as quickly as or take much punishment, so I’d lower this stat to 2 for Normal.
>Energy Projection: 6(Multiple Energy forms)
Not a chance, she’s nowhere near as skilled as Twilight, much less the likes of Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom at magic. I’d give her a 4 for Medium range and durability, one energy type, around Rarity’s level.
>Fighting Ability: 1(None)
Lol. For once I’ll have to raise a pony’s stat, to a 2 for Normal, since 1 means the character is really old, a child, physically disabled(blind, etc), or an incorporeal being that can’t or doesn’t need to fight.

441 this is MvC we’re talking about.
Anyone can put up a hell of a fight if you spam the same combos and infinites. All she’d have to do is call in twilight assist, camp with her magic and smoke bomb teleport to avoid opponents and you have high tier right there.

I dunno, I think a Miner Unicorn who uses his magic to blast rocks would probably mop the floor with her.
Just saying, a fat spellbook is useless if no spell can do shit.

No, not equal to Twilight. Twilight is in her own league, she can literally bend the laws of physics, even by the incredibly loose Equestrian definition.

But Trixie is far and above most other unicorns.

Above the average doesn’t mean “Can put up a hell of a fight”.
As anyone who plays The Elder Scrolls will tell you: Illusionism sucks when your enemy is Half Man, Half Metal, All Murder.
Unless you take your time grinding it but HONESTLY WHO EVEN DOES THAT AM I RIGHT GUISE?

Hey hey hey, 441, don’t knock illusory magic. Some of the most powerful mages in fantasy literature were illusionists, or had extensive knowledge of illusion. It’s a very important school of magic.

Keep in mind, though, that most Unicorns only have one or two affinity spells. Trixie is capable of many different spells. So she’s still above the average.

I don’t get it, why so many people put her on equal level to Twilight’s Magic?
Mind you, we never see Trixie use magic for PRACTICAL uses, only flashy stuff, while Twilight was able to lift a 500 ton bear and a fashion a milk bottle using a farm and a water tower in one go.
Honestly, Trixie looks more like a Illusionist: What she does LOOKS like impressive magic stunts, but she’s actually using very basic magic in a clever manner, case in point, her failed disappearance act at the end of the episode.

Yeah, as a fighting game character she’d be top tier, simply because she can do anything. Not a lot of speed or power, but she’d be like Mario in Brawl if Mario had access to all of his powers. Still not very dangerous, but you have no way of forming a counter strategy, because nothing would work.

Like Lucario in standard competitive play (in the pokemon games). You can figure out if it’s a special or physical sweeper, but that’s it. It can do literally anything.

Ruler of Sheep
she’s smarter than Fluttershy, AJ, and Rainbow Dash?
As strong as Rarity?
As much stamina as AJ?
And her magic projection is equal to Twilights?

You know this might sound like an odd complaint but I think in Fics and Fanon people make Trixie… ‘too’ competent with magic.

Her magic is kinda meh.

Its just flashy and disorienting.

v Which would STILL make her difficult to fight. Think Dan Hibiki but with FIREWORKS EVERYWHERE.

I can see her being incredibly irritating to fight for sheer virtue of unpredictability. Trixie is a walking compendium of seemingly useless skills, but combined she’s a Swiss army knife.
