Don’t know if I’m going to pursue it now, I’d have to take acting lessons, and such, and I can’t afford that right now.
 
I actually did get to voice Mr. Cake in a pony fan-animation project, but I think they cancelled it unfortunately.

Good luck with that. I’ve thought about getting into it myself, though only for recreation. I’ll be off to art school soon enough, so learning to draw is higher on my priority list.

Yeah, that’s what I said, to voice-act “professionally,” you have to have an agent, be part of a VA union, or something. It’s not easy to get into “professional” acting.

I remember her explaining in a YouTube comment awhile back (sorry I can’t give a citation) that the main reason why she can’t voice-act for the show itself is because she isn’t a member of the Canadian union, not due to drama BS.

I’m in full agreement with you on the fans, but let’s face it: we can’t please everybody in the world.

I think they can only hire “professional” VAs (with agents, and such) for the MLP cartoons, but Nowacking has done a li’l professional voice acting apparently.
 
Though, I’m sure even if they did use her, there’d be some fan-drama over them “pandering,” or using a “fan-voice in canon,” and such… I hate to say it, (as much as I love the brony fanbase) but some fans are why we can’t have nice things…
 
Still, I wouldn’t mind if they hired somebody to give her a similar voice. I like that laid-back, and “cool” Californian sound Nowacking gives DJ/Vinyl.  
BTW, this is probably my favorite DJ PON3 video she did.

I like how DJ & Vector are buds in this. I liked the li’l friendship/rival (platonic) pairings AnimatedJames does in his Sonic & MLP parodies.
