I understand the confusion. I agree that it is difficult to tell that she is Fluttershy here. However, I was doing a palette challenge. That means that someone offered a palette and I had to draw whatever character they said with that palette. I can assure you that she would be much easier to recognize in full color.
Ah yeah that.
Still, a humanization should still have them be instantly recognizable as their character. This however isn’t really selling “Fluttershy” at all. The random limited palette just makes it more confusing.
She likes nature, but that doesn’t really have anything to do with her hair.
Honestly, it’s canon that she’s self-concious about her hair already. Remember the hair extensions?
But why cover it? Fluttershy’s more of a free nature lover kind of person.
Tumblr turned Muslimshy into its own damned stereotype. Which only cheapens their efforts at diversity.
Her hair is covered, and it’s a limited pallette drawing. There’s definitely some creative license.
They at least ya know, have her damn hairstyle. And eye color.
I don’t see these complaints on the hundreds of pictures of porn on here that consists of just a white girl with pink hair
