Yeah, because the movie never explained to us what happened to them after they ran away in humiliation.
Until Hasbro and Studio B come up with what happened to the Dazzlings after Rainbow Rocks’ ending, this is purely a fanon scenario.
I don’t remember them learning about friendship, just them losing their magic.

Though I like “Sonaria” a lot better…
