I never implied you lack a moral compass. Don’t you see how fast my opinion did a 180? You can’t help what people pay you to do. And to be honest, the requests you generall get - soft rape - are far less squicky than some of the stuff artists do. I know a guy that does furry art and gets like $50+ a pop, and he draws absolutely horrible shit. Because that’s what his customers want.
 
Still like your style, just not always the content.

Yeah… no shit? I already stated on my dA that I have no restrictions. It’s not just for munnies; a lot of dA artists have restrictions on what kind of art they will draw, and I don’t want to be like that.

Thanks. And I know some of the commissions I get are “impossible” from a real-world perspective. If I were thinking about real-world implications about things, I wouldn’t have drawn the The Usual comic. Rainbow would never go to the spa alone; and when she didn’t like it, she would just get up and fly away.
 
And when people commission me, I don’t question their commissions. They have a fantasy that they want drawn, so why should I try to change it?

@pyruvate ‘pologies, sir. If you notice, my comments just point out how retarded the idea behind this story is. I didn’t question your beliefs and/or attitude as an artist. Commissions are commissions, and “cash has no smell”, as the old saying goes.  
That said, the one who commissioned this is, most probably, a sicko.

I mean… This is Trixie. She isn’t good at anything, much less masterminding the destruction of her nemesis by mindfucking her into raping her beloved mentor.

I think the issue at this point is less the rape and more the fact that it is hilariously improbable.
 
Commissioners get what they want, but Impious has a point: When you decide to rape a beloved public figure, you kind of dig yourself an impossible hole.
 
In my opinion, it’d be better if this was Molestia because then there’d be less unsettling implications and more comedy gold and poetic justice.

That’s all external context which we don’t have here. Basically, right here we got a lot of people saying “this makes no fucking sense” and you show up going “well fuck you I didn’t write it”. If you wanted to defend yourself here, you only needed to say that you’re just comissioned to do the art and you didn’t write the script; you didn’t need to make out like the people here were raging against you, because as I said almost none of it was specifically directed at you.
 
At any rate your response is more understandable if people keep giving you shit on dA about it. Just try and chill out, yo.

People send me notes on dA all the time outraged about my pony art. They also tell me how x shipping with y is impossible because of z reason–as if I cared if it was possible or not. So I kinda know the arguments against me. I was just pulling preemptives.
 
And the dude specifically said for someone to point me to this discussion so that I could “see what a dumbass I am”. Seems like an attack.
 
Hell, I don’t even know how this series will end. That’s totally up to the will of the commissioner(s).

I was going to say something about not working on things I disagree with.

I just read the whole comment thread here. One person mentioned you by name, saying they didn’t like this one. All the rest of it was argument against the premise and the script, which you’re quick to point out you weren’t responsible for; so why DO you feel like people are outraged against you? Nobody said the art was terrible, nobody even specifically directed any complaint at you, apart from that one guy who pretty mildly said he didn’t like rape. Sure, the rest of them seem to be taking it way too seriously, but you likewise appear to be taking it way too personally when nobody was even attacking you.

You’re taking this picture way too seriously. You need to calm your tits. Your outrage against me is hilarious–considering that this IS A COMMISSION. I didn’t choose the text, the ponies, or what is happening; this is scripted by a commissioner. I just do the drawing.
 
And before you tell me that I should have standards for what I should draw–this isn’t my job. I do this for fun. If people want to pay me to do something I do in my spare time, then why not? I don’t have a limit on what kind of pony art I will draw; and I don’t care what a bunch of people on the Internet think about me. So yeah, I do appreciate positive comments, and it’s a good motivating factor to draw; but I won’t lose sleep, nor will I stop drawing, over negative ones.

I’ll be honest, at first I thought Twilight was trying to snap her neck.
