That’s the great irony. Celestia has the best wing-to-body ratio of any pegasus, and is definitely the most graceful, beautiful pony in Equestria. So, why is it that the only time she uses her wings is to sort of hove in place, and rides in a chariot every other time?

Answer: She never really figured out how to fly. She’s fucking awful at it.

Well she probably doesn’t fly that much

which is why I like the ideal that she used to be a pegasus before becoming an alicorn, she sometimes sneaks out to go for a fly
